Art is a diverse variety of human activities in building visual, auditory or performing artifacts ( artworks ), expressing the author’s imaginative or technical skill, intended to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional power. Art therapy is clearly demonstrating that it successfully addresses numerous somatically-based situations which includes trauma reactions, posttraumatic tension and depression as well as quite a few neurological and cognitive disorders. Having said that, art as therapy is a pretty close match to many other non-therapy approaches, primarily in the realm of art teaching.
